  • London location is in the south of  England.
  • In Roman times this city was calling Londinium.
  • The populatoin in Roman times was of  45,000 and now is about 7.5 million of people. Is a lot of people !!
  • The most famous street names are: Trafalgar Square (Battle of  Trafalgar) and Victoria Street (Queen Victoria).
  • The people from London are calling ''Cockneys'' or Londoners.
  • Some of  the  famous Londoners people are: Charlie Chaplin ( actor ), Arthur Conan Doyle ( writer of Sherlock Holmes stories ).

                                  VIVEIRO


Viveiro is a city in the northeast of Galician.  Its name comes from Latin language and it was “Vivarium” that means a place where grows trees and plants. After centuries, this word changed to Vivario, Vivairo and Viveiro. The population is about 16.000 now.
There are a lot of famous places: Porta do Castelo, the church – convent of San Francisco, declared a Historic- Artistic Site, Mount Sant Roque, where you can see a view of the Landro river. Also there are natural surroundings, such as Souto da Retorta, where you can enjoy the oldest eucaliptus forests in Europe. “O avó de Chavín” is the highest (70 metres), the thicker and the oldest.
The people of Viveiro are called  “Viveirense”. Famous Viveriense are Constanza do Castro (century XV) buried in the convent of San Francisco, Pastor Díaz (century XIX) writer, journalist and politician and Vicente Cociña, journalist and politician. He created the newspaper “El Centinela de Galicia” in 1843.

CORUÑA CITY

 
Coruña is a city in the north of Galicia. This city was founded in 62 BC. It name was Brigantium in Roman times, and in 1140 Coruña's name was Cruña. The population in Coruña, in the past, was unknow.

In Coruña there are monuments and squares with the name of important people in the History: 
  • The Hércules Tower: It's a lighthouse built by the Romans, it was declared a World Heritage; it's the oldest funtioning lighthouse in the World.
  • María Pita square: It's the most important square of the city. In this square is situated the Town Hall of the city and a monument of María Pita. This woman was a heroine who defended Coruña againts the Britain Navy.
  • San Anton castle: It was an old fortress and prison, it was built in 16th century and now it's an archaeological museum.
  
 
Coruña's people are called "coruñeses". A celebrity citizen of Coruña was Emilia Pardo Bazán, she was born in Coruña on the 16th of september of 1851, and she died in Madrid on the 12th of may of 1921. Emilia was famous writer; but the most important celebrity person was the heroine Maria Pita.

CADIZ

CÁDIZ

     The history of Cadiz is the typical of one city detach for his strategic position military and comercial, between Atlantic Ocean and Mediterraneo Sea. This is a province of the community of Andalucía. 

       The Cadiz province, has 1.243.519 residing. The city with more population is Jerez de la Frontera, with 215.180 residing.

        Her principal activity is the sector naval, quimic and military material. 

       The climate of the province characterize to be mediterranean. The temperature is 18ºC half yearly. In the summer is normaly exced some days 40ºC.





The gastronomy in Cadiz is very variable, it has got:
  • potatoes
  • fish
  • chips
  • omelet
  • meat
  • vegetables
  • and an other plates

In Cadiz, there are many monuments. Something monuments are:

  • Iglesia de San Antonio
  • Puerto de la Tierra

In this photo we see a beautifull beach of  Trinidad y Tobago.
In the summer this is one of the most famous beach because famous people like Nicki Minaj,
Rihanna, Chirs Brown, Drake, came to this beach so ir is a really famous beach.

Toledo


 

Toledo is a Spanish city, it is the capital city of Toledo ( provincia ) ,of Castilla-La Mancha and old capital city of Castilla and of Spain. Toledo is 71 km from the capital city of Spain , Madrid. It's
in central Spain.The population is 82429 people. Its name was Toletumn in Roman times.

Toledo has got one cathedral, it has got the ' Alcázar de Toledo ' and the Sinagoga del Tránsito.
It also has got the Greco's house .

The people of Toledo are called Toledanos. Famous Toledanos include sports stars like Miguel
Nombela and Roberto Fresnedoso. Roberto Fresnedoso was a footballer.

Madrid is a city in the centre of Spain.In Roman times Madrid was in the ' Tarraconense' region.It's posible during Roman times the territory of Madrid was a rural region.

Some places to visit are the Enrique Tierno Galván park with the planetary,the' Palacio Real de
El Pardo ' ,the ' Palacio de la Zarzuela ' and some museums.

There are famous sports stars from Madrid like Lope,Calderón,Ortega,Fernando Torres,Íker
Casillas,Raúl,Brutagueño,Carlos Sainz and Fonsi Nieto.
